4 out of 5 stars Will get rid of ants, just give it time...and repeat yearly.   September 5, 2010
M. Ram (San Jose, CA, USA)
We live in a neighborhood that was apparently built on top of a massive ant farm. They show up all around the house (especially after watering the grass/plants) and enter the kitchen on almost a yearly basis.

After seeing a several scouts on the counter, I put one of the bait stations out. Within a few hours, there was a massive stream of them (and even a few larger "soldier" ants), so many that I actually put more stations out to make sure there was plenty of poison for them. Most reviews online say that their colonies were dead after a day or two, but for us it took over a week. Yes, the packaging says it could take up to 2 weeks, but I was hoping for the shorter duration, as having hundreds of ants running around near your cooktop isn't appealing. Thankfully, towards the end you only have to clean up a few clumps of dead ants around the station, as the rest seem to die back in their nest. Note: if you spill the liquid, you'll have to scrape it off the counter and wipe the area with a soapy sponge, as the stuff is more like syrup than water.

We've set these stations up in the past, and they did get rid of the ants after a while, but it's annoying to have to do it every year. Soon I'll be buying those outdoor stations, as I'd rather kill them closer to the source, before they can get close to the house!

5 out of 5 stars Works great in all conditions   September 4, 2010

This trap has taken care of the small invaders indoors and out. The one used outside sat in 90+ heat and rain and the ants kept coming back. They stopped coming after 3 days and have not been seen since. In my kitchen, the first army disappeared after two days of working on the trap. The second took three days. In all cases once a few found the trap, they would soon stop wondering anywhere else and begin swarming to the trap.

5 out of 5 stars Works like a charm   September 2, 2010

This stuff is great. We had a recent ant coup in our house and had tried some other off-the-shelf products and none were really working. The ants unionized and went right around our other traps. Little punks. So, on the advice of a friend and the reviews here, I ordered some of this wonderful liquid death for these unwanted ants. What results! I put the traps down Monday night at 6pm. In 2 hours, the place was SWARMING with ants. It's hard to show restraint and not kill them all immediately, but I knew I had to let them have their little fun, grab their friends, and take this wonderful ant genocide juice back to their nest. Within 2 days (less than that, really), the antpocalypse had come and gone. Minus maybe the one straggler, the ants were gone and just a pile of dead ant corpses remained. Just wonderful. I howled with laughter as I scooped their little bodies into the trash. Get this stuff, and enjoy doing your part to rid the planet of your share of ants! :)

The only complain I have for this product is that it took 2 weeks before shipping. When I first found this product, I already purchased all brands that I can find in walmart and target. None of them worked. Then I found this one, and ordered it through 2nd day shipping. I got several emails from amazon saying that they are temporarily out of stock. I was like: is it so popular? But I decided to wait, and it turns out to be a correct decision.

I just got it today, and put 6 packs at suspicious places. 2 hours later, I checked them, and it was like filming some horrified B movie. Ants are everywhere near the bait, and you can clearly tell where the nest is from their routes. It's interesting that at places where there are no heck nearby, I get nothing at all, even it's under the dining table or my son's highchair (you know how messy a baby is). But near the nests, I can't tell the total number, like several hundreds of ants? Geez!

One tip to find heck, which might be useful for apartment/condo renters like us, the nests are often close to the corners of wall, faucets or sinks and appliances that need a hole behind to stay on the wall.

I'm still waiting for the death of ants, since so far they are pretty active. I know it takes a while, and I'm quite confident on the incoming results.

Good luck to everyone!

this stuff is great. it attracts the ants then they carry the stuff back to their nest. it was full of ants within a minute of setting it down. it took about a week before i noticed there were no more ants around. after all of the products i have tried this seems to be the most effective. i still use ant blocker around the perimeter of my house but i will continue to use this stuff too.

Okay, so there are advantages to going out to the local mall and doing some window shopping or browsing in your favorite bookstore, but when time is short, go the online route. Play at an online casino and save yourself the hassle of time-consuming travel.
