| Editorial Reviews:
Product Description When Governor Mike Huckabee entered the Republican presidential race, he was the ultimate dark horse, with almost no money, no consultants, and no name recognition beyond Arkansas. The so-called experts were highly amused by this former small state governor from blue-collar roots who also played bass in a rock band. He wouldnt have a prayer against the well-connected and financially wired pros like Rudy Giuliani, Mitt Romney, and Fred Thompson.
But Huckabee had one big advantage: a common sense message that connected with millions of people, and not just his fellow evangelical Christians. He spoke about family values, fair taxes, and helping hard-working, middle-class Americans in a tough economy. And to the dismay of some Republicans, he talked about fighting Wall Street greed and K Street corruption.
Huckabee shocked the country by winning the all-important Iowa caucuses and seven other states, while spending far less than the other major candidates. He created an army of passionate volunteers and small donors, transforming his campaign into a true movement that will endure long after Election Day.
Do The Right Thing is Huckabees amazing story, in his own wordsfrom making commercials with Chuck Norris to meeting a Michigan woman who insisted on donating her wedding ring. But this is more than just a campaign memoir. Its a vision for a smarter, fairer type of politicsvertical politicsthat focuses on common sense solutions for education, health care, the economy, and many other issues. Its not about right versus left; its about taking America up rather than down. Huckabee also shows how the Republican Party can heal its divisionsbetween social and fiscal conservatives, the wealthy and the middle class, the religious and the secularand become a true majority party again.

interesting, but repetitive March 8, 2010 Paul Skinner (Manassas, Virginia United States) I like Mike Huckabee, so I enjoyed this campaign trail memoir. Lots of interesting stories about real people he met along the way. But I have to say it was repetitive. Many chapters reviewed the same topics over and over. I was most interested in the details of the "fair tax" initiative, but was a bit disappointed at how much information was contained in his tax chapter.
A Great Message February 7, 2010 K. Hisel (Topeka, KS) This is a thoughtful book which delivers it's message with poignancy as well as straight forward simplicity. Very thought provoking read.
Do the Right Thing: Inside the Movement That's Bringing Common Sense Back to America January 30, 2010 Linda H. Biscombe (Norristown, PA) This book is a must for anyone that loves their country. We need more men and women like Mike Huckabee to lead our country. He makes alot of sense.
Great book! January 24, 2010 E. Wicker Huckabee has some great ideas - this book was easy to read and not as boring as I thought it would be. Usually I listen to books while I'm on my way to work because I don't have time to read but I was able to read this one in less than a week.
COMMON SENSE FOR THE FUTURE January 7, 2010 Joseph H. Race (SAIPAN, MP United States) Nothing much new here but did enjoy some of the insights into the past campaigns. Mike has some good ideas going, but needs to concentrate more on the future than rehashing the old battles with the rivals for election. He needs to move above the crowd and inspire America, which he can do. I like the man and the book for his down-to-earth approach to politics and a sincere concern for the welfare of America and its place in the world. Read the book and learn more about the man, and possibly the next GOP candidate for president. Our country is in short supply these days of "common sense," and being in touch with average person.

Okay, so there are advantages to going out to the local mall and doing some window shopping or browsing in your favorite bookstore, but when time is short, go the online route. Play at an online casino and save yourself the hassle of time-consuming travel.
